TimberTech Azek FAQs

Heavenly Decks trusts our product partner, Azek, to provide quality TimberTech® composite
decking materials and fasteners for the decks we build.

Although these products are great for replacing your old deck, TimberTech products cannot be installed on top of an existing deck.

Yes. No matter the temperature, we can successfully install TimberTech composite decking. However, for best results, the boards should be kept cool during installation. However, if the temperature is below 45 degrees Fahrenheit, pre-drilling will be required, which can alter the installation time.

TimberTech Railing is easily cleaned with a warm water, mild soap, and a soft white cloth, followed by a thorough rinse. DO NOT USE solvent-based cleaners.

We prefer that you use TimberTech DeckCleaner™, which is specifically tested and approved for cleaning Azek products. You can also use soap and water or an all-purpose cleaner like Chomp® gutter cleaner or Simple Green®.

Go to the TimberTech site for their complete Care & Cleaning Guide on how to clean TimberTech decks.

Powerwashing is not preferred, but you can use a “rinse-only” setting at 1500 psi or below.
